Job Description:

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Provides direct clinical services such as intakes, therapy programs and techniques, psychoeducation, crisis intervention, etc.

2.         Maintains and completes service documentation including time spent per activity per client, case notes, case reviews, letters, staff notes, etc.

3.         As needed, collaborates with external agents such as school officials, family members, and community providers regarding organizational programs and client needs and conditions.

4.         Participates in supervision and relevant staff meetings.

5.         Completes professional development activities.

EDUCATION

• Master’s degree in Psychology
• Actively enrolled in a Professional Psychology Doctoral Program (e.g. Ph.D., Psy.D., Ed.D.)

EXPERIENCE

• Three to six months of volunteer work or structured, experiential learning (e.g., practicum or learning lab) in field of behavioral health or developmental disabilities

REQUIREMENTS

• Licensed as a Temporary Licensed Psychologist by Kentucky's board of psychology
• May require driver's license 

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• Position has no unusual physical demands. 
• Position may occasionally require walking or standing, stooping or bending. 
• May involve occasional exposure to threat of bodily harm (e.g., from clients or their families). 
• Normal work tasks involve no exposure to blood, body fluids or tissue, but employment may require performing tasks on an unplanned or occasional basis that involve exposure to those substances.
